TERMS & CONDITIONS
1. Booking & Payment
A 20% deposit is required to confirm your booking. The remaining balance is due on the event date.
Payment may be made via bank transfer to the details provided on the invoice.
Bookings are not confirmed until the deposit has been received and acknowledged in writing.
2. Cancellations & Refunds
Cancellations made 14+ days prior to the event are eligible for a full refund of any amount paid.
Cancellations made less than 14 days prior to the event are non-refundable.
In the event of severe weather, we offer either a full refund or to reschedule (subject to availability).
3. Service Area
Our standard service area includes locations within the Sydney Metropolitan Area. Events outside this radius may incur an additional travel fee and are subject to availability.
4. What We Provide
We supply all equipment: telescope, glassware, bar tools, ice, fresh cocktail ingredients, and non-alcoholic alternatives (by prior request).
Our astronomer leads a curated experience combining celestial viewing, storytelling, and crafted cocktails.
Setup and clean-up are fully managed by our team. We require access to the event location at least 1 hour prior to the event start.
5. Client Responsibilities
The client must ensure a safe, accessible, and legal space for telescope setup (e.g., backyard, rooftop, courtyard). We require a flat surface, low light pollution, and clear sky access for optimal viewing.
The client must inform us of any stairs, access limitations, or special setup considerations at least 48 hours in advance.
The client is responsible for the conduct of their guests. We reserve the right to end service early if staff safety is compromised.
6. Alcohol Service
Alcohol is served only to persons aged 18 and over, and valid ID must be presented on request.
We reserve the right to refuse service to any guest who is intoxicated or behaving inappropriately.
Non-alcoholic options are available with prior notice and are priced the same as alcoholic experiences.
7. Photos & Promotion
We may request to take photographs during the event for promotional use. We will always ask for consent prior to using identifiable photos of you or your guests.
8. Liability
Galileo’s Glass accepts no liability for injury, loss, or damage incurred during the event unless caused directly by our negligence.
9. Weather Conditions
Astronomy is weather-dependent. In case of cloud cover or poor visibility, we will continue with the storytelling and cocktail experience, and where possible offer partial telescope demonstrations.
A full refund will not be issued for weather-related viewing limitations.
10. Agreement to Terms
By paying the deposit or balance, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.
